What is checked

Standard: The DIN, ISO or ANSI reference exists and matches the part type (e.g. DIN 934 is a hex nut, not a bolt).
Material grade: Grade is valid for the material: 8.8 / 10.9 / 12.9 for carbon steel, A2-70 / A4-80 for stainless.
Treatment: Surface finish is stated explicitly — zinc plated, hot-dip galvanised, black oxide or plain.
Dimensions: Size, pitch and length are consistent with the standard's dimensional range.
